Jamie Solomon

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP-BC

Hi there, I’m Jamie Solomon, a practicing psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who takes a holistic approach to patient care. I customize my approach to enhance your emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual health. I'm committed to your pursuit of meaningful, realistic, and honest evolution.

I specialize in working with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, and attention disorders.  I integrate modern and traditional practices to help clients identify their unique talents and direct their purpose.

When you work with me, you’ll find a safe space where you can explore life’s challenges, sit with tough questions, and ease into new ways of breaking old patterns.  I believe in the power of non-judgmental listening, partnership, and collaboration in treatment planning.

I encourage my clients to openly discuss their concerns with me. My clients find me down to earth and easy to talk to.

I strongly support clients utilizing non-medication approaches (therapy, meditation, exercise, etc.) to manage symptoms, and do not push medications on those who prefer to avoid them. In my view, medication is a tool that allows you to space from what you are experiencing and support you to make the necessary steps for recovery.

"Jamie was warm and down to earth. She was easy to speak with and knowledgeable about potential methods for addressing my concerns. Open, not trying to push her own agenda, but thoughtfully discussing options that fit into my life."

"She was compassionate, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. My first experience with a psychiatrist and it was a very good one."

"Amazingly easy to talk to. I love the atmosphere in her office. Very honest and clear in her explanations and medical opinion. She wants YOU to feel YOUR best."

I have an undergraduate degree in nursing from University of Haifa, Israel. I completed my masters in nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
